This past week was the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and Salt Lake City got a surprise visit from the one and only Banksy who was here to promote his new movie that premiered at the festival 'Exit Through The Gift Shop.' Over the week Banksy's notorious art started to pop up in Park City and downtown in SLC. Once word hit the street thats Banksy tagged Park City's white barn i checked where else he was tagging so i could get a view of his work for the first time. The most noticeable piece was this one on main street up in Park City.
Word was that this piece was going to get taken down after the film festival was over but I recently heard that Java Cow put a protective piece of plastic over it to ensure that the piece will be up for a good while. Its good to hear that the owners of the coffee shop appreciate this enough to ensure its protection because how often does Banksy tag Utah?
